This is the report from our Pennsylvania members: (John Erb reporting) At the August 17th meeting, Eugene Connolly, Mike Leahy, Matt Arment, and myself discussed the future direction of the West Shore Regulators. Eugene suggested that there should be four officers: a president, vice-president, game master, and communications officer. We intend to hold an election for these four positions within six months. During that time we intend to engage in a membership drive to encourage people to sign up as voting members so that they can participate in that election. No dues will be charged to become a member. We only intend to ask for names and contact information. To qualify as a voting member, the candidate must attend three meetings out of the next five and state his intention to become a voting member. From now on meetings will not be restricted to only one activity. We intend to bring a variety of games and videos for the attendees to choose from, including the society's XBOX game console and its accompanying games. I will also bring my own Blu-ray player. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to participate in the FATE RPG system that Eugene will be running. Player handbooks and "fudge-dice" will be available from him at a discounted price or at That Game Place locally for $10 plus tax.
