Thank you to all who attended our change of command meeting! We arrived at the Main Event in Grapevine and soon realized it would not be an ideal setting to hold a meeting. We adapted quickly and moved across the parking lot to Spring Creek BBQ. The staff there was very friendly and accommodated us right away. I took command of the ship and Brigadier Clark took his position as Executive Officer. There was much rejoicing... (I think somebody clapped.) Tank handed over the ship funds. (It still hasn't been counted but I'm sure it is as it was.) Perry, Sean and Roon tied for first place with the trivia contest. After a hard fought battle using Bat'leths and Lirpas, Sean walked away with the prize. We discussed movies, possible future away missions, including the Perot museum, the Grapevine train and Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, and my fondness for runaway sentences. A toast was made for Liz Goulet in honor of her fine service as Executive Officer for the last four years. Remember to invite a friend to our next meeting. They might like it! After the meeting we returned to Main Event where the Regulators fought valiantly in a Laser Tag battle but lost to superior numbers. At the end we were tired but it was a good kind of tired...
In attendance were Captain Cross, Brigadier Clark, Commander Clark, Major Marchant, Lieutenant, Brulotte, Lieutenant Washburn, Chief Warrant Officer Wilkerson, Master Chief Petty Officer Goulet, Senior Chief Petty Officer Goulet, and Crewman Brulotte.
